PICTURES <br /> <br />· New pictures for the Department will be taken at the April business meeting. <br /> should come in dress uniform with white t-shirts. <br /> <br />DNR TASK FORCE UPDATE <br /> <br />Firefighters <br /> <br />Recommendation for truck top lettering was made and will be brought to the March 29th <br />Anoka County Fire Protection meeting. <br /> <br />Written guidelines for fighting wild fires were reviewed. <br /> <br />DNR has acquired a C-10 double scooper plane. <br /> <br />Thc task force would like pagers programmed for the DNR and there should be a main DNR <br />radio channel. <br /> <br />The task force reviewed air operation guidelines. <br /> <br />Each city should have a set of 25 maps. <br /> <br />MONTItLY REPORTS <br /> <br />Officers will be in charge of their new responsibilities by the next Officer's meeting. <br /> <br />A4EDICALA~CBA <br /> <br />Officer Weiss reviewed the Medical/SCBA report. <br /> <br />· Thc defibrillator was inspected and the battery changed. <br /> <br />° No medical reports were filled out in February. <br /> <br />· Officer Weiss will review with Officer Lewandowski supplies and their location on the <br /> vehicles. <br /> <br />° SCBA bottles were inspected. One bottle was not connected to the harness and one was <br /> upside down in Engine #2. Some were dirty. One SCBA bottle failed the flow test, but has <br /> been corrected. <br /> <br />° Officer Weiss will purchase extra parts for the SCBAs, as they are available at this time. <br /> <br />° When using the A33 mask cleaning solution make sure the package dissolves. <br /> <br />· Fircfighters who have gone through the SCBA maintenance class should train other <br /> firefighters how to fill SCBA bottles or be present when the they are being filled. <br /> <br /> FIRE DEPARTMENT OFFICERS/MARCH 6, 2001 <br /> Page 3 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
