When writing up an incident report make sure the 2800 number and Ramsey Fire number are <br /> filled in. <br /> <br />ME D ICA L/SCBA <br /> <br />OffScer Weiss reviewed the Medical/SCBA Report. <br /> <br />· The defibrillator was inspected and the battery changed. <br /> <br />· No medical reports were filled out for February. <br /> <br />· SCBA bottles were inspected. One bottle was not connected to the harness and one was <br /> upside down in Engine #2. Some were dirty. One SCBA bottle failed the flow test, but has <br /> been corrected. <br /> <br />· Officer Weiss will purchase extra parts for the SCBAs, as they are available at this time. <br /> Spare bottles could be purchased from New Brighton Fire Department. <br /> <br />· When using the mask cleaning solution make sure the package dissolves. <br /> <br />STATION CLEANUP <br /> <br />· Firefighter Dahlberg's group has station clean up this month. <br /> <br />· Firefighters want to keep a similar frequency of cleanup duty with the two stations. <br /> <br />SAFETY CONCERNS <br /> <br />· Monthly safety concerns discussion satisfies OSHA requirement. <br /> <br />· ~l'hc Department and the City have a seat belt policy. Seat belts should be worn in route to <br /> and fi'om the stations and calls. <br /> <br />· Be careful when putting SCBAs back on the truck. This is a safety issue for the next <br /> firefighter to use the bottle. <br /> <br />· Roads are quite dangerous with melt down during the day and freezing at night. <br /> <br />· Earplugs will be purchased and each truck will have a supply. <br /> <br />· MSDS sheets will be written for chemicals on the premises for both stations.
