SOG REVIEW <br /> <br />· Fircfighters reviewed the SOGs Workplace Accident and Injury Reduction Program and <br /> Right to Know Policy. <br /> <br />STATION #2 UPDATE <br /> <br />· The contractor received a Substantial Completion for Station #2 on Monday. <br /> <br /> Thc floor finish is in the process of being applied to the apparatus bay floors; the finish <br /> requires a 5-day drying time. No one should walk on the floor during this time. <br /> <br /> Thc electrical and mechanical work is not completed and a Certificate of Occupancy will not <br /> be given until proper completion inspections have been made. <br /> <br />· Furniture is on order. It will be arriving within the next few weeks.. <br /> <br />· Outside work to be done includes outside chalking, painting and landscaping. The <br /> Department will do the landscaping this spring. <br /> <br />· At this time, personal vehicles should be washed at Station #1 only. The Department would <br /> like to determine the time it takes to fill Station #2 drainage tanks with regular Department <br /> USC. <br /> <br />° Thc Department is looking at March 24a as a move in date. <br /> <br />° An open house will be held after the landscaping is completed. A suggestion was made to <br /> have the open house the same day as the Lion's Community Picnic. <br /> <br />RESCUE TRUCK <br /> <br />· Thc service body has been shipped to J-Craft. The chassis will be sent there for mounting <br /> once the painting is completed. <br /> <br />· A company in Elk River will install the radio and lights. The radio and lights have to be <br /> NFPA compliant. <br /> <br />CS() POSITION <br /> <br />° Firefighter Schiferli is the new CSO officer. <br /> Friday. <br /> <br />His schedule ~ill be 9-1, Monday through <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT/MARCH 14, 2001 <br /> Page 4 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
