· In May there were 25 calls, 6 were rescue, of which 0 were CO and 19 were fire. There were <br /> 10 day calls, 7 night calls and 8 weekend calls. There were 2 Mutual Aid calls (1 given and 1 <br /> received). Total dollar damage is approximately $250. <br /> <br />° Year to date there has been 128 calls, 45 were rescue of which 4 were CO and 10 were <br /> extrications and 83 were fire of which 19 were cancelled alarms. There were 6 Mutual Aid <br /> ca] Is. <br /> <br />· Average response time for rescue calls in May was 5.5 minutes, average attendance was 12 <br /> fircfighters and average time on the scene was 40 minutes. <br /> <br />· Avcrage response time for fire calls in May was 6.7 minutes, average attendance was 15 <br /> fircfighters and average time on the scene was 43 minutes. <br /> <br />STATION CLEANUP <br /> <br />° Firclighter Ternus' group has station cleanup this month. He is calling his group and looking <br /> at Monday for cleanup. <br /> <br />SAFETY CONCERNS <br /> <br />° When searching for downed power lines, make sure to look at the line going into the house. <br /> <br />· When going to a downed power line call be alert the line could be down within a mile of the <br /> reported call. <br /> <br />· Officer Streich talked to a representative of Qwest and if the Duty Officer is 100% sure the <br /> phone line is actually the phone line it can be cut. <br /> <br />° Thc gcneric cleaning containers at Station #1 have been disposed of. Solutions should be <br /> kept in original containers. <br /> <br />PATCH DISCUSSION <br /> <br /> ?rototypes were made of the two patch design choices. This will allow for firefighters to <br /> view an actual patch.
