· In May there were 25 calls, 6 were rescue, of which 0 were CO and 19 were fire. There were 10 day calls, 7 night calls and 8 weekend calls. There were 2 Mutual Aid calls (1 given and 1 received). Total dollar damage is approximately $250. ° Year to date there has been 128 calls, 45 were rescue of which 4 were CO and 10 were extrications and 83 were fire of which 19 were cancelled alarms. There were 6 Mutual Aid ca] Is. · Average response time for rescue calls in May was 5.5 minutes, average attendance was 12 fircfighters and average time on the scene was 40 minutes. · Avcrage response time for fire calls in May was 6.7 minutes, average attendance was 15 fircfighters and average time on the scene was 43 minutes. STATION CLEANUP ° Firclighter Ternus' group has station cleanup this month. He is calling his group and looking at Monday for cleanup. SAFETY CONCERNS ° When searching for downed power lines, make sure to look at the line going into the house. · When going to a downed power line call be alert the line could be down within a mile of the reported call. · Officer Streich talked to a representative of Qwest and if the Duty Officer is 100% sure the phone line is actually the phone line it can be cut. ° Thc gcneric cleaning containers at Station #1 have been disposed of. Solutions should be kept in original containers. PATCH DISCUSSION ?rototypes were made of the two patch design choices. This will allow for firefighters to view an actual patch. Then a second vote will be taken to decide on which of the two will be purchased.
