FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />q'he Ramsey Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at <br />Ramscy Fire Station #2, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(~ALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />('.hicl' Kepler called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:05 p.m. <br />'here were twenty-two firefighters in attendance. There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />q'hc first softball game is Monday, the 14th at 9:15 p.m. There will be a practice will be Sunday, <br />April 13th, 3:00 p.m. at Alpine Park. See Firefighter Sharp after the meeting to sign the <br />agreement regarding conduct during the games. <br /> <br />It! you a,'c interested in purchasing shirts or hats, the sign up sheet is on the board. Firefighter <br />(}ordon will send in a bulk order. <br /> <br />(kmgratul ations to Firefighter Rollins who has completed his Fire Fighter I certification. <br /> <br />MONTIILY REPORTS <br /> <br />7'RA fA~IN(;- <br /> <br />Ch icl' Kepler reviewed the Training Report. <br /> <br />· March training included Fire Trivia, Extrication with Long and Short Boards and Agility <br /> Testing. <br /> <br />April training includes Grass Fire with the DNR, Crime Scene, Pump Classroom and Major <br />Maintenance. The newest members of the Department should bring their turnout gear to the <br />C~ ime Scene drill to do some hands on pump training. <br /> <br />q'hc Department will train on the new SCBA equipment on May 14th rather than having a <br />May Business Meeting. After the Department has trained, small groups will have individual <br />hands on training. <br /> <br />()ut of town State Schools will be limited because of budget concerns, however, the <br />Technical College does offer some of the State School courses. <br /> <br />MAJOR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />()filter Weiss reviewed the Major Maintenance Report. <br /> <br /> <br />
