Of the <br /> 5re calls there were 8 day calls, 0 night calls and 10 weekend calls. <br /> <br /> Year to date there has been 68 calls, 22 were rescue and 46 were fire. <br /> <br /> Average response time for rescue calls in March was 5.4 minutes, average attendance was 12 <br /> [1rcfighters and average time on the scene was 52 minutes. <br /> <br />° Average response time for fire calls in March was 5.4 minutes, average attendance was 11.3 <br /> lircfighters and average time on the scene was 41 minutes. <br /> <br />SAFETY CONCERNS <br /> <br /> 'l'hc compressor at Station #1 will not be changed out before the new SCBA equipment is put <br /> in service. August 1st is the purchasing time frame for the FEMA grant and hopefully there <br /> will bc enough funds to purchase a new compressor. <br /> <br />· At this time of year road conditions can change quickly from wet to icy. <br /> <br /> Grass th'cs can spread out and make it difficult to keep coordination of the firefighters. <br /> <br />· 'l'hc I)NR helicopter is available out of Princeton. Fire danger is high. Be alert when the <br /> hclicopter is flying over, the bucket has been known to fall to the ground. <br /> <br /> Turnout gear for grass fires includes bunker pants, boots, hood, coat and mask. Grass coat <br /> can also be worn. <br /> <br />FI RE PREVENTION/INSPECTION UPDATE <br /> <br /> An ordinance was introduced at the April 8th City Council meeting to establish a Business <br /> Tenant Certificate.
