In ChiefKapler's absence Assistant Chief <br /> } Ioxtcr will handle the billing process. <br /> <br />· Thc Sheriff's Department will determine ifa ticket is to be issued. The Sheriff's Department <br /> uses a towing company out of St. Francis. <br /> <br />I,;NI) OF YEAR INTERVIEWS <br /> <br />It is once again time for year end interviews. Interviews will take approximately 20 minutes <br />with firefighters meeting with Chief Kapler and the assistant chief from the alternate station. <br /> <br />Itctns to be discussed are: training, communication to firefighters, familiarity of equipment, <br />number of new firefighters and how they should be added (all at once or in small groups), <br />officers ability to listen to the issues, the alpha-numeric pagers and anything the firefighter <br />wishes to discuss off the record. <br /> <br />· It was suggested chiefs also discuss the status of Station #2, both short and long term. <br /> <br />IIANQUET DATE <br /> <br />· At a previous meeting it was voted on to change the banquet date from October to February. <br /> <br />Fir¢tlghters decided the date in February should be the last Saturday of the month. The next <br />banquet will be February 2005. <br /> <br />IS() <br /> <br />· OFficer Streich will be full time in the Fire Department beginning in 2004, so this will help in <br /> thc completion of the ISO process. <br /> <br />OFFICER SELECTION <br /> <br />· Positions up for selection are Chief2, Captain 12, Lieutenant 2, and Training Officer. <br /> Positions have a 2 year term with the exception of Training Officer, which is a one-year term. <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT/NOVEMBER 12, 2003 <br /> Page 4 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
