Building Code 1306 requires sprinklers in certain size buildings and targets mostly <br />residential buildings such as townhouse units. <br /> <br />ISO UPDATE <br /> <br />Representatives will meet with the Water Department the morning of June 17th and <br />immediately after with the Fire Department. <br /> <br />· June 18th a flow test will be done in various portions of the city that have hydrants. <br /> <br />INVENTORY SHEETS FOR TRUCKS <br /> <br />Assistant Chiefs Hoxter and Lemm will create a sheet for each truck with what is in the <br />vehicle compartments. Firefighters will use this sheet after calls to make sure all items are <br />back in place. Assistant Chiefs will have this sheet completed by July 1st. <br /> <br />! NSURANCE INFORMATION FOR VEHICLES <br /> <br />· Insurance information is kept at Station #1. <br /> <br />MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> <br />TRAINING <br /> <br />April training included Ladder Truck Awareness, BTLS with Medics Training and Pump <br />Practice. <br /> <br />May training includes Pump Testing, BTLS with Medics Training and Water Rescue. <br />Engine #2 should be repaired in time for the Pump Test. <br /> <br />· June training includes Hose Testing, BTLS with Medics Training, Mystery Ladder Truck <br /> Drill, and Major Maintenance. <br /> <br />There will not be training on July 7th. <br /> <br />· This year there will be a guest speaker at Safety Camp graduation, everything else will <br /> remain the same as last year. <br /> <br />· Four people need to attend CPR Refresher and 12 people have not received their EMT or <br /> First Responder cards. <br /> <br />MAJOR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />The l,adder Truck is at General for repair and should be back by the middle of June. <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT OFFICERS/MAY 4, 2004 <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
