Small Tools' <br /> · Battery packs for the cordless tools on both rescue trucks are going to be rotated <br /> every week. Rescue #1 is on the driver's side behind the seat, Rescue #2 is on the <br /> passenger side on the shelf above the medical kit. <br /> <br /> The fuel for all the small engines were replaced with fresh gas during major <br /> maintenance. <br /> <br />Turnout Gear <br /> · New firefighters have been issued PAR tags and gear grid name plates. <br /> <br /> · New helmet has been order for Weiss. <br /> <br /> · Checking the budget before ordering uniforms. <br /> <br /> · Officer Lecy needs a new flashlight. <br /> <br />Medical SuppBes <br /> One bulky trauma dressing and a roll of cling used. <br /> <br /> · <br /> <br />SCBA <br /> · <br /> <br />Battery change out has been completed. <br /> <br />Department masks were not part of the recall. <br /> <br />The cylinder is full and operational. <br /> <br />Incident Report/Assistant Chief Hoxter <br /> · In September there were 23 calls, 9 were rescue, 1 was a CO and 14 were fire. <br /> There were 13 day calls, 4 night calls and 6 weekend calls. There was 1 Mutual <br /> Aids call and 7 canceled alarms. <br /> <br />· Year to date there have been 307 calls, 87 were rescue and 217 were fire of which <br /> 55 were cancelled alarms. <br /> <br />SAFETY CONCERNS <br /> · ChiefKapler reminded firefighters to come to a complete stop before entering <br /> onto Armstrong Boulevard.
