MINIMUM TRAINING LEVELS <br /> <br />A vote was taken and effective the first of the year minimum training will be 50% attendance <br />of quarterly drills, which would equal 5 drills a quarter. This will insure that OSHA <br />mandated training drills will be attended. Mandated training takes 32-36 hours of the 44 <br />hours of training. <br /> <br />· If minimum training is not met, the fire fighter will go on up to three months probation, with <br /> no excused absences allowed. <br /> <br />COMMITTEES <br /> <br />Chief Kapler reported on Station #2. Chief <br />Kapler will notify 2800 of this also. <br /> <br />A side note to this is that the Comfort Suites will be opening soon and some of the same <br />concerns are an issue at this location.
