FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Department conducted an officers meeting on Tuesday, November 3, 1998, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chief Kapler called the officers meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order. <br />seven officers in attendance. Discussion of new jackets was added to the agenda. <br />officers meeting will be Sunday, December 6, 1998, 6:00 p.m. at McDuff's. <br /> <br />MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> <br />Ron Lemm reviewed the training. <br /> <br />There were <br /> The next <br /> <br />November 4th will be a map drill. Medics Training will perform the evening drill and Anoka <br />Hennepin Tech will perform the morning drill. <br /> <br />November 18th will be a medical emergency drill on heart attacks and strokes. <br /> <br />Ron Lemm, Dave Griffin, Bill Karels and Wade Geving still need to take the pump operation <br />test. <br /> <br />Ron Lemm and Ron Mashuga will draft an SOG for pump operation. This will help ensure <br />that everyone is operating it the same. <br /> <br />Tom will look into getting a one page address map. <br /> <br />Determination of the building, on the Law's property, for a live burn will have to wait until <br />the City obtains access to the property. <br /> <br />The hose test in 1999 should be done before standard daylight time goes into effect. <br /> <br />Dave and A1 will be doing the First Aid seminar for the Snow Rams on December 3rd. <br /> <br />There are funds available until the end of the year for the officers to take a management class, <br />however, time will not allow for them to do so. <br /> <br />The Department is signed up for softball on Monday nights beginning in April 1999 at <br />Diamonds Sports Bar. The season will be fourteen weeks long. <br /> <br /> <br />
