MAJOR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Chief Kapler reviewed the Major Maintenance report. <br /> <br /> Grass Rig Two had the carburetor rebuilt and needs a tune up. <br /> <br /> Engine One had the radiator, alternator belt and 2 inner tires replaced. <br /> <br /> Engine One aud Tanker One had pump certification completed. <br /> <br /> Garage doors have been painted. Thank you to those who helped. <br /> <br />· Things to be done in September include, nozzle lock on Engine One and Tanker Two, pump <br /> pack holders to be installed on the Grass Rigs, and work on the opticon receiver <br /> misalignment at Armstrong Boulevard. <br /> <br />INCIDENT REPORT <br /> <br />Chief Kapler Reviewed the Incident report. <br /> <br /> In August there were twenty-six calls, of which thirteen were rescue and thirteen were fire. <br /> Total dollar damage for August was $250,000. <br /> <br />· Year to date, there have been two hundred twelve calls, of which seventy-six were rescue and <br /> one hundred thirty-six were fire. Total dollar damage is $334,000. <br /> <br />· Last year's totals at this time were two hundred forty-three calls, of which one hundred <br /> seventy-nine were fire and sixty-four were rescue. <br /> <br />MEDICALA~CBA <br /> <br />Officer Weiss reviewed the Medical/SCBA report. <br /> <br /> New gloves have been ordered. <br /> <br />· The SCBA compressor issue has not been resolved so please limit the use and shut it off <br /> when finished using it. <br /> <br />,, Parts for the SCBA have been ordered. <br /> <br />· Any fire fighters having problems with their mask let Officer Weiss know. <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT/SEPTEMBER 8, 1999 <br /> Page 2 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
