STATION CLEANUP <br /> <br />Fire Fighter Peterson's group (Team #1) has station clean up this month. Cleanup will be on <br />Wednesday, September 15, 1999. <br /> <br />Each fire fighter is responsible for approximately one hour, three days a year to pick up the <br />hose tower and bay area. If it is not possible for the fire fighter to attend on the cleanup night <br />they should let the team leader know and they can be assigned a duty that can be done at <br />another time. <br /> <br />SAFETY CONCERNS <br /> <br />Look out for your fellow fire fighter when on the scene. <br /> <br />At the officers meeting the officers discussed the PAR system and how to keep it structured <br />and get it back on track. <br /> <br />STATION #2 UPDATE <br /> <br />· Thc land purchase hearing will be approximately October 1st. <br /> <br />The design review will be brought to the Public Safety Board on September 9, 1999. <br />Thc ground breaking won't be until spring of 2000. <br />ENGINE #3 UPDATE <br /> <br />· The hydraulic generator switch and light controls will be located on the pump panel. <br />- Thc radio will be installed when the truck is almost finished. <br /> <br /> The generator cord will be the twist type and the truck will have household plugs. <br />RESCUE TRUCK <br /> <br /> The committee met on August 17th. <br /> <br />· Some options to look for in a truck would be a four door, one ton club cab. <br /> <br /> Things the committee will look into is whether to purchase through State bid or the <br /> Department to build the truck, how the equipment will fit in, and if there should be a cascade <br /> system on it or not. <br /> <br />· The next meeting will be September 9, 1999, at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> FIRE DEPARTMENT/SEPTEMBER 8, 1999 <br /> Page 3 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
