The truck Captain should <br /> do a walk around and make sure the truck is completely cleaned. <br /> <br />RA I )IOS/IM GERS/TURNOUT GEAR <br /> <br />()fficcr Sharp reviewed the Radio's/Pagers/Turnout Gear Report. <br /> <br />· Six pagers are ell back order, production has been started. There is a recall on the four new <br /> pagers received. Batteries for the four pagers are here. <br /> <br />· Four channel lists for hand held radios have been ordered. Channels should be referred to by <br /> name and not the number. <br /> <br />Six tircfightcrs to receive new turn out gear. <br /> <br />All firetighters should have a new flashlight now, new firefighters will receive one as part of <br />their ti_irt] out gear. <br /> <br />Turn out gear has been sent to the Grand Rapids Fire Department for use until their <br />equipment is replaced frorn the petroleum fire they had. The Department received a thank <br />you Ii'om tile Grand Rapids Department. <br /> <br />INCIDENT REPORT <br /> <br />Chicl' Kapler Reviewed the Incident Report. <br /> <br />· In April there were forty-three calls, of which ten were rescue and thirty-three were fire. <br /> Total dollar damage for April was $100,000. <br /> <br />· Year to date there were one hundred twenty calls of which thirty-eight were rescue and <br /> eighty-two were fire. Total dollar damage was $276,000. <br /> <br />Last year's totals at this time were ninety-seven calls, of which thirty-three were rescue and <br />sixty-lbur were fire.
