ANOKA HALLOWEEN PARADE <br /> <br />· Volunteers have signed up for the parade. <br /> <br />· The $40 registration fee will be paid by October 1s'. <br /> <br />GAME FAIR <br /> <br />· The Department has been asked to provide medical coverage for the game fair. <br /> <br />· The Department did not commit to having someone there because short notice was given, <br /> however, if anyone is available to be there it is August 11t~ - 13t~ and August 18t~ - 20t~. <br /> <br />PUBLIC SAFETY BOARD <br /> <br />· The board was receptive to the noon start time for recreational fires on Saturday and Sunday. <br /> <br />· A $25 flat burning permit fee was favorable to the board, however, the board would like to <br /> see a tier rate for larger volumes and for commercial burning. <br /> <br />· The board was supportive of purchasing water rescue equipment. <br /> <br />CAR WASH FUNDRAISER <br /> <br />· Firefighter Smith has rescheduled a car wash for Saturday, August 27t~, 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. <br /> at LeToumeau's Volunteers will be needed. <br /> <br />RESCUE DEMONSTRATION AT SCOUT CAMP <br /> <br />· There will be a rescue demonstration at the Boy Scout Camp on September 23rd. <br /> <br />· There is a sign up sheet on the board in the fire station. <br /> <br />· Two cars will be provided for an extrication demonstration. <br /> <br />SPECIAL RECOGNITION <br /> <br />· Thank you to the day crew for unloading 700 feet of hose and loading it back up. <br /> <br />· Thank you to those who volunteered for National Night Out. Three vehicles were used to <br /> attend the block parties. Volunteers were Firefighters Gerdes, Gnerre, Nelson, Ostrom, and <br /> Tcrnus, Chief Kapler, Assistant Chief Hoxter and Officer Sharp.
