· Officer Weiss will look into apparatus bay cabinets; they need to be water-resistant. <br />STATION #1 UPGRADES <br /> <br />· Thc ttoor will be redone. <br /> <br /> Gear grids will be put in. <br /> <br />· A new ventilation system with better air exchange should be installed. <br /> <br />· The walls will be painted. <br /> <br />RESCUE TRUCK <br /> <br />· Chief Kapler and Officer Simpson have gone to various companies and fire departments to <br /> look at service bodies. They will make a trip to Jay Craft in Kimball. <br /> <br />ISO RATING TASKFORCE <br /> <br />· A committee will be formed the first of the year. <br /> <br />NEW FIREFIGHTER UPDATE <br /> <br />· Three new firefighters, Les Johnson, Steve Engh and Jim Grega will start with the <br /> Department on November 8, 2000. <br /> <br />OFFICER POSITIONS FOR 2001 <br /> <br />· Thc # 1 positions are open for 2001. These positions include, Captain 11, Lieutenant 1 and <br /> Training Officer. <br /> <br />· A letter of application is needed to apply. <br /> <br />FIRE CODE ENFORCEMENT POSITION <br /> <br />· This position will be 20 hours a week shared with building inspections. <br /> <br />ILLEGAL BURN CALL RESPONSE <br /> <br />· Company response to illegal bums is working well.
