· Thc SOG's will be discussed at the January 2001 officers meeting. <br /> <br />MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> <br />MEI)ICAL/SCBA <br /> <br />Officer Weiss reviewed the Medical/SCBA report. <br /> <br />· The defibrillator was inspected and the battery changed. <br /> <br />° Supply stock and Allina have replaced medical supplies used at accident scenes in October. <br /> <br />· Officer Weiss received a bid for station #2 defibrillator. The company has a special at this <br /> time for public safety with a total cost of $2,600. <br /> <br />· Tanker One had a SCBA half full. It has been filled and put back into service. <br /> <br />· Officer Weiss is in the process of obtaining bids for a cascade system that would be at station <br /> #2. Officers discussed compressor and containment syst, ems, the design necessary to fill <br /> various sizes of bottles and fit the room size where it will be located. <br /> <br />· Officer Weiss will keep a supply of the stuffed animals received from LeTourneau's in each <br /> cngine. <br /> <br />RA DIO,%TPA GERS/TURNO UT GEAR/MAPS <br /> <br />Officer Sharp reviewed the Radios/Pagers/Turnout Gear/Maps report. <br /> <br />· Five pagers were repaired. Officer Sharp will be recording serial numbers. <br /> <br />· Thc new turnout gear has arrived, however, it is in for alterations. <br /> <br />· Six pairs of boots have been ordered. <br /> <br />· Radios will be signed out at each officers meeting. If each officer had a radio, the radios <br /> would be better maintained and all officers would have the capability to respond. <br /> <br /> Three pairs of gloves have been received and distributed. <br /> <br /> Mittens are in the green bag in Engine #1. More will be ordered for Engine #2. Each engine <br /> will then have a combination of sizes. <br /> <br /> Two flashlights have been received. <br /> <br /> Extra turnout gear will be stored at Station #2 in cabinets with doors. <br /> <br /> FIRE DEPARTMENT OFFICERS/OCTOBER 29, 2000 <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
