MA.IOR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Officer Simpson reviewed the Major Maintenance report. <br /> <br />· Engine #1 had a new battery installed. One bad cable was found. <br /> <br />· There is an antifreeze leak on two vehicles. <br /> <br />· The pumps have been re-certified on all trucks. <br /> <br />· Engine #2 was at Custom to have the foam pro unit repaired, however Custom could not find <br /> anything wrong. <br /> <br />· Hoses on the bleeder valve were changed. <br /> <br />· Grass #2 was sent to Emergency Apparatus to have maintenance done. <br /> <br />· Siren on Tanker #1 had a blown fuse. <br /> <br />· Siren on Grass #1 has a broken wire. <br /> <br />· A new section of large diameter hose was received. <br /> <br />· A set of extrication equipment is to be put on Engine #1. <br /> <br /> The marker light assembly on Tanker #1 needs repair. <br /> <br />7'RA INING <br /> <br />Officer lJemm reviewed the Training report. <br /> <br />· October training included Pump Operations Test, which Firefighter Streich needs to be tested <br /> on, medical training was Emergency Childbirth, and a ChieFs Map Drill. <br /> <br />· Novcmber will include Officer Simpson's Chainsaw Operations, medical will be Patient <br /> Assessment, and Major Maintenance. <br /> <br />· Next year training will not need to include the EMT classes from the Tech, so there will be <br /> some open spots for other types of training.
