The pumps have been tested and certified on all trucks. <br /> <br />· Engine #2 was at Custom to have the foam pro unit repaired, however Custom could not find <br /> anything wrong. They did replace some hose and hose openings. Officer Simpson received <br /> a quote for an extra set of holders. <br /> <br />· Grass #2 was sent to EInergency Apparatus to have maintenance done. <br /> <br />· Siren on Tanker #1 had a blown fuse. <br /> <br />· Firefighter Minear repaired the broken siren wire on Grass #1. <br /> <br />· A new section of large diameter hose was received. <br /> <br />RADIO3,YPAGERS/TURNOUT GEAR <br /> <br />Officer Sharp reviewed the Radio's/Pagers/Turnout Gear Report. <br /> <br />Five pagers were repaired. Officer Sharp will record serial numbers and keep a computerized <br />chart of the numbers. <br /> <br />· The new turnout gear is in for alterations and is expected back November 10th. <br /> <br />· Five pairs of boots will be ordered. <br /> <br />° Three pairs of gloves have been received and distributed. <br /> <br />° Mittens are in Engine #1. More will be ordered for Engine #2. <br /> <br />· Two flashlights have been received. <br /> <br />INCIDENT REPORT <br /> <br />Chief Kapler Reviewed the Incident Report. <br /> <br />In October there were 44 calls, of which 13 were rescue and 31 were fire. There was no <br />dollar damage. <br /> <br />Year to date there has been 311 calls, of which 88 were rescue and 224 were fire. Total <br />dollar damage is approximately $448,000. <br /> <br />Year to date in 1999 there was 289 calls, of which 94 were rescue and 195 were fire.
