Regular Planning Commission 7.3. <br />Meeting Date: 01/27/2022 <br />By: Bria Raines, Community Development <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Consider Ordinance 422-12 Amending City Code Section 117-124 to Allow Restaurants in the E-3 Employment <br />District <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Research of peer communities has confirmed that restaurants are typically allowed in industrial districts via a <br />conditional use permit. These districts, similar to the E-3: Employment District in the City of Ramsey, include <br />warehouses, and manufacturing of goods. <br />The proposed amendment to City Code Section 117-124 would allow restaurants in the E-3: Employment District <br />with a conditional use permit.
