Council member introduced the following resolution and moVed for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-09- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL TO SUNFLOWER RIDGE <br />SECOND ADDITION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, US Home Corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Developer", has properly <br />applied I'or final plat approval on the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Outlot A and B, Sunflower Ridge, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br /> W H EREAS, on March 21,2002, the City of Ramsey received an application and sketch <br />plan l~rom Oakwood Land Development, Inc. for the proposed plat of Sunflower Ridge; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 4, 2002, the Planning Commission reviewed the sketch plan for <br />S un l~ owcr Ridge and recommended proceeding to the preliminary plat stage with certain <br />modil'ications to the plan; and <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, on April 11, 2002, the Park and Recreation Commission reviewed the <br />p~'oposed plat of Sunflower Ridge and recommended that park dedication be satisfied with a cash <br />payment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 2, 2002, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing <br />regarding the proposed preliminary plat of Sunflower Ridge and recommended that City Council <br />approve the preliminary plat; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 28, 2002, the City Council approved the preliminary plat for <br />Stmllowcr Ridge; and <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, on April 11, 2002, the Metropolitan Council approved an. amendment to the <br />200 l City of Ramsey Comprehensive Plan to reclassify the future land use of the Subject <br />Property fi'om low density residential to medium density residential; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 11, 2002, the Ramsey City Council adopted Ordinance #02-18 to <br />rezone the Subject Property from B-1 and B-2 Business to R-3 Urban Residential (medium <br />dcnsity); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 23, 2002, the City Council approved the first phase of Sunflower <br />Ridge; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 6, 2005, US Home Corporation, the current fee title owner of the <br />Subject Property, applied for a revision to the preliminary plat and site plan approved by City <br />Council on May 28, 2002, for the second phase of Sunflower Ridge that consisted of developing <br />Ibc linal phase of the Subject Property with a combination of row style townhomes and back-to- <br />back units; and <br /> <br /> <br />
