The Anoka County Sheriff's Department shall be responsible for informing the public, posting <br />m)tification at all public accesses and marking or buoying the slow-no-wake zone as necessary to <br />give reasonable notice to the speed restrictions. The Anoka County Sheriff's Department will' <br />also have the primary responsibility of enforcing the ordinance along with other licensed peace <br />ot'fi ccrs. <br /> <br />As attthorized by Minnesota Statutes 86B.201, 86B.205, and 459.20, and Minnesota Rules <br />01 l 0.3000-6110.3800 the city may adopt an ordinance for the intent and purpose to regulate the <br />operation and speed of a watercraft on the Rum River within the city limits of Ramsey, which <br />will prevent and limit the erosion of the banks along the river. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff' recommends adopting Ordinance #05-xx Regulating Watercrafts and establishing <br />Section 5. t8 Watercraft Regulations to Chapter 5 of the City Code of Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Council Action' <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember and seconded by Councilmember <br /> __ to adopt Ordinance #05-xx Regulating Watercrafts and to establish Section <br />5.18 Watercraft Regulations to Chapter 5 of the City Code of Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />M,)tion by Councilmember and seconded by CoUncilmember' <br /> to deny the proposed ordinance. <br /> <br />Rcview Checklist: <br />Asst.
