Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE A PARKS LEAD WORKER <br /> <br /> WitEREAS, in December 2004 the City Council approved a reorganization in <br />thc l'ublic Works Department which resulted in the Parks Lead Worker position <br />becoming vacant; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, the City Council granted authorization to begin the recruitment <br />process to fill the Parks Lead Worker position. <br /> <br /> ~/HEREAS, a recruitment process has been conducted and staff recommends <br />that Michael Berge be hired as the Parks Lead Worker effective September 14, 2005 at a <br />stat'ti ng wagc of $18.54 per hour. Mr. Berge's probationary period will be six months <br />and all other personnel policies will apply normally. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />TIlE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />Con firms thc recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br /> I lire Michael Berge as the Parks Lead Worker effective September 14, 2005 at a <br /> starting wage of $18.54 per hour. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 13th day of September 2005. <br /> <br /> <br />
