Resolution <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />COUNT-Y OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING A PERMIT APPLICATION FOR TWIN CITIES NORTH <br />CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO ALLOW CHARITABLE GAMBLING AT <br />THE LINKS OF NORTHFORK GOLF COURSE <br /> <br /> Whereas, Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce, has requested that Council <br />al low them to conduct charitable gambling in a fundraising raffle format at The Links at <br />Northt'ork Golf Course; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Gambling Control Board requires that the local unit of government <br />(.city o1' county) pass a resolution specifically approving or denying to requests to conduct <br />charitable gambling; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce is in compliance with all <br />requirements of the Ramsey Municipal Code with regard to charitable gambling <br />reg~dations; and " <br /> <br /> Whereas, it is the desire of the. City of Ramsey to assist in the economic <br />prosperity of local business owners. <br /> <br /> Now, therefore, be it resolved.that the Ramsey City Council does hereby <br />authorize Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce to conduct charitable gambling in <br />ral"J'lc I~ormat at The Links at Northfork. <br /> <br /> <br />
