Mayor Gamec stated that he would not object to entering into a one-year agreement because <br />many Ramsey residents do use the pool and purchase the passes; then in a year, they can re- <br />evaluate the situation. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman stated that he would also be in favor of one year. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos replied that by agreeing to one year of funding it would give <br />some warning to residents and allow them time to comment on the situation. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated that for the future he would not be in favor of subsidizing the <br />pool dollar for dollar, but if it is a real benefit then he would support the funding. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seco~ded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to recommend that City <br />Council enter into a one year agreement with the City of Anoka for pool funding at a maximum <br />of $4,000. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Anderson asked that in the future, when the request is made, <br />the Council needs better information. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Anderson, <br />Hendriksen, and Kurak.
