• Supply all qualified applicants with relevant information about the City, the City <br />Administrator position, and the community. <br />• Independently and objectively assess the qualifications and suitability of candidates for <br />the position based on the agreed upon required and desired qualifications. <br />• Recommend a pool of semi-finalist candidates. <br />• Coordinate semi-finalist and finalist candidate interviews and recommend the <br />processes for those interviews. <br />• Respond to all candidate inquiries and produce all correspondence throughout the <br />search as requested. <br />• Keep the City Council closely involved in key decisions and informed of our progress <br />through weekly email updates. <br />• Assist the City Council in reaching a final decision. <br />• Assist in or conduct contract negotiations with the successful candidate, if desired. <br />• Assist the City Council in establishing criteria for evaluating the new City <br />Administrator's performance, if desired. <br />• Follow-up with the City Council and the new City Administrator during the first year <br />to determine if adjustments are necessary. <br />2. <br />
