METRO TRANSIT - COMMUTER RAIL (Anthony Hebert)
• Continuing to operate in COVID19 reduced schedule - 4 trips a day: 2 outbound, 2 inbound.
• Ridership down since pandemic began and seeing slight increase over time, however not at
where we would like to be.
• On Time Performance has hit goal.
IV. ST. CLOUD METRO BUS (Michael Kedrowski)
• Ridership has doubled since same time last year with a 17% increase in the last two months.
• Ridership numbers: Nov 2021=1000; Dec 2021=832; Jan 2022=703.
• With warming temperatures, hope that ridership will increase.
V.
NORTHSTAR MARKETING (Anj Olsen)
• The Dollar Fare program in Sept/Oct 2021 may have had an impact on increased ridership.
Out of all modes, Commuter Rail had the largest jump in ridership during the promotion.
• Transit Assistance Program (TAP) promotional clings will be installed on passenger cars.
Anoka County has many candidates that could qualify for this program. Jessica Cross is the
contact person for questions regarding this program.
