• The added noise and air pollution from the added traffic.
• Harm and displacement of the wildlife in the area.
• Has a study been done by the Army Corp of Engineers on the impact to the federal flood
plain and wetlands.
• Has it been reviewed by a Hydrologist for any impacts to the wetlands, private wells and
septic system functions.
• There should be a comprehensive traffic study that includes the future development to the
north, PACT school & church with the consideration of all of the events that happen at
central park.
• Why is the school not following the recommendations from Minnesota's "Guide For
Planning School Construction Projects" document. This proposal clearly does not fit many
of the guidelines laid out for student and public safety and site selection.
• How is it going to affect our already struggling water system?
Driving around Ramsey, we see lots of signs for land for sale in areas that could handle a school
that's not in a neighborhood setting. There are lots that are specifically equipped to handle this type
of facility which may cost more for the property but eliminates all of the very expensive
infrastructure cost. In the end, it would be much more cost effective, safer for the students and
public and shorten their construction schedule.
As for the church, I'm certain with the right approach, we could help them find a developer that
would be willing to give them a fair price for the land to build some single family homes and build on
our community.
Thank you for taking the time to listen to us but please consider a different location.
Sincerely,
Jason Patrow
