Motion by Councilmember Specht, seconded by Councilmember Heineman, to introduce <br /> Ordinance #22-16 Establishing Boundary Lines for the City of Ramsey Ward System adding <br /> Version Three Map to the Ordinance in the Applicable Places. <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Kuzma, Councilmembers Specht, Heineman, Howell, <br /> Musgrove, Riley, and Woestehoff. Voting No: None. <br /> City Engineer IV Linton commented that the revised ordinance and the resolution will be on the <br /> agenda for the next Council meeting. <br /> 7.07: Approve the Replacement of the River's Bend Park Monument <br /> Public Works Superintendent Riemer reviewed the staff report and recommendation of <br /> replacement of the River's Bend Park Monument. He asked about the contrast that was shown in <br /> the original packet and had asked the design team to come up with a couple more to see if it would <br /> be more to the Council's liking. <br /> Councilmember Specht if the blue suggested would be the standard Ramsey blue. <br /> Public Works Superintendent Riemer replied the Staff thought maybe the browns would work <br /> better for the park system as more of a natural color. <br /> Councilmember Musgrove stated she had this pulled from the consent agenda because she wanted <br /> to have more options with the park sign. She liked the contrast better with the lighter color in the <br /> background and that the lettering would look better in a darker color. She stated she would be <br /> okay with either the brown on the lighter contrast or the darker black letters as seen on Public <br /> Works because it is easier to read versus it all being the same. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Musgrove, seconded by Councilmember Woestehoff, to approve the <br /> Signation Sign Group Inc.'s quote in the amount of$16,580. <br /> Further Discussion: <br /> Public Works Superintendent Riemer stated the lettering is made out of a special kind of metal that <br /> to get the dark brown color they let it rust out, so they would get the black lettering but they <br /> wouldn't be able to use what was listed in the case. Councilmember Musgrove replied she was <br /> okay with the brown as it is in the case. She stated she liked the lighter color background color. <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Kuzma, Councilmembers Musgrove,Woestehoff,Heineman, <br /> Howell, Riley, and Specht. Voting No: None. <br /> 7.08: Investigation of City Affairs <br /> City Administrator Ulrich stated this case is a follow-up to the lengthy discussion of the filling of <br /> the Charter Commission vacant seats. There were some inferred improprieties and there were <br /> subsequent follow-up by Councilmembers asking additional questions. He stated that the Council <br /> as a body is the one in charge of investigations and he wanted to verify with Council that work <br /> City Council/March 8, 2022 <br /> Page 28 of 38 <br />
