The following comments are Offered regarding the landscaping plan dated September 6,
2005:

· At least an additional thirty-four (34) shrubs must be incorporated into the
landscaping plan. The Ramsey Tree Book should be utilized to determine
acceptable and preferred species. They could be planted north of the proposed
building or interspersed among the trees along Sunfish Lake Blvd.
· American Linden has a somewhat low tolerance to deicing salt spray. Along
Sunfish Lake BlYd, where vehicles are traveling at ~eater speeds, an alternative
species, such as White Oak, Black Walnut, Regal Elm, or Common Hackberry,
should be considered. Along Sunfish Lake Court, this concern dimirfishes
somewhat due to the reduced speed of traffic.
· There are two trees, one just east of the first entrance and the other is just west of
the second entrance, which should be repositioned so that they are not so close to
the curb and asphalt.
· Balled and Burlap trees shall have the wires removed and burlap cut back as much
as possible.
· Trees shall be planted so that the root flare is at Fade level.
· If pruning is necessary, the cuts should be made at the branch bark co[lar, not
flush with the bark.
· No trees can be installed within fifteen (15) feet ora hydrant.

A revised landscar~in~ pian must be submitted that addresses the above stated concerns.

Tree Preservation: A tree inventory and preservation plan must be submitted. The
inventory should note the common and Latin name of each tree, the size (DBH) of each
tree, and any applicable comments regarding a tree's general conditions (e.g. dead,
diseased etc.). The preservation plan should show where tree save fencing will be
installed and said fencing must be in place and approved by the City prior to the
commencement of construction.

Drainage and Grading: Please submit a revised drainage plan showing the following
information:
· drainage areas
· Indicate shots along the existing curb on Sunfish lake Court
· Verify the location of shots in the parking lot and label them
· Indicate the proposed elevation of building
· Check driveway radii to accommodate larger vehicles
· Show easements over proposed watermain
· Show city, details for curb and gutter, minimum paving standards, storm manhole,
and valley gutter

Street repair must be completed in 3 days with a bituminous paver. Elevations on top
and bottom of the retaining wall if higher than 42" a safety fence will be required.

44
