Case #3: Review Park Development Funding Sources <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated that during the discussion on the Central Park entrance <br />project, the Commission discussed the different potential funding sources available. It was <br />determined that a review of the various Park development funds would be advantageous to <br />formalize a recommendation on the project as well as before the start of the five year Capital <br />Improvement Plan process. Mr. Boos presented the Commission with the different funding <br />sources for their review. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Consider Rescheduling Elmcrest Park Concept Plan Steering Committee for <br />May 17, 2001 <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated that a Committee meeting was tentatively scheduled to <br />proceed the regular scheduled Park and Recreation Commission meeting of May 10, 2001 with <br />Commission approval later in the evening. Elmcrests base data has been entered on the City's <br />new Auto Cad system, however additional time should be put into the Concept Plan map, Staff <br />recommended rescheduling a Committee/Commission meeting on May 17, 2001. That would <br />allow for both groups to discuss the plan at the same time, with a formal recommendation by the <br />Park and Recreation Commission the same night. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Commission was to schedule the meeting for June 6th at 6:00 p.m. at Central <br />Park. <br /> <br />Case #5: Trail Maintenance Issues <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated that at the April Public Works Committee meeting, the <br />Committee discussed a number of maintenance issues relating to trails. During the discussion, <br />the matter of dog owners not picking up after their pets was addressed.
