The City of Ramsey's Utilities Department will be flushing water
mains beginning Monday, April 4 through Friday, April 29. This necessary, semi-annual process
helps to eliminate naturally occurring iron deposits that have settled to the bottom of the water
main pipes. Flushing the pipes creates a disturbance in the system and may cause your water to be
discolored. While it may be unsightly, the water is fit for human consumption. We appreciate your
patience and regret any inconvenience that this may cause. If you have any questions regarding
water main flushing please call Utilities Supervisor John Nelson at 763-433-9861.
