Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:

<br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
<br /> IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #22-05, RIVERDALE DRIVE TRUNK UTILITY
<br /> IMPROVEMENTS, LLAMA STREET TO BOWERS DRIVE
<br /> WHEREAS,the City of Ramsey proposes to extend Riverdale Drive between Llama Street
<br /> and Bowers Drive to extend the south frontage road system to U.S. Highway 10/169 to Bowers
<br /> Drive; and
<br /> WHEREAS, trunk utilities are also proposed to be extended along Riverdale Drive
<br /> between Llama Street and Bowers Drive to serve this area of the City with municipal utilities since
<br /> it is zoned as MUSA; and
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 421-305 adopted October 26,
<br /> 2021,the City Council accepted a design services proposal of Bolton&Menk, Inc.to develop final
<br /> plans and specifications and solicit bids for Improvement Project 422-05; and
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 422-040 adopted February 8,
<br /> 2022, the City Council approved the plans and specifications prepared by Bolton & Menk, Inc.
<br /> and authorized the advertisement of bids for City Improvement Project 422-05; and
<br /> WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald and in Finance and
<br /> Commerce on February 11 and 18, 2022; and
<br /> WHEREAS, eleven (11) bids were received, opened, and tabulated on March 11, 2022,
<br /> and the following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and
<br /> advertisements for bids, and
