WHEREAS, the bid of Douglas-Kerr Underground, L.L.C. of Mora, Minnesota, in the <br /> amount of$2,163,890.22 for the total bid for construction of the improvements in accordance with <br /> the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder <br /> and their bid shall be and hereby is accepted. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br /> contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of <br /> the City of Ramsey. <br /> 2) The City Administrator is hereby authorized to direct Bolton & Menk, Inc. to return <br /> forthwith to all bidders the bid bonds made with their bids at such time that a contract has <br /> been executed. <br /> 3) The City Administrator is hereby authorized to execute the proposal from Bolton & <br /> Menk, Inc. to provide construction related services for said improvements in a total notto- <br /> exceed amount of$45,615.00. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> Specht, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> None <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> None <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> None <br /> Resolution#22-072 <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br />
