<br />Come Work With Us! <br />The City of Ramsey is hiring for the following positions: <br /> Police Officer. Performs responsible police work involving the protection and safety of <br />the community through prevention and control of crime, maintaining or restoring public <br />order, investigating crime, regulating traffic, enforcing laws and providing emergency <br />services; as well as other related duties as required. Salary wage: $29.271/hour. This <br />position closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday, May 15, 2022. <br /> IT Security Administrator: The primary objective of this position may include, but is not <br />limited to mitigating unauthorized access to data on City-managed networks, through the <br />planning, implementation, and administration of cybersecurity solutions and best practices. <br />This position focuses heavily on network security and will work closely with all <br />departments, LOGIS, and other affiliated entitles to identify present security needs, as well <br />as future needs. This position also supports the IT Department with day-to-day <br />troubleshooting, monitoring, and training. The hiring salary range is $33.982 and <br />$37.380/hour depending on qualifications. This position closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday, <br />June 12, 2022. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey is also hiring for the following Temporary Summer Staff and Internships: <br /> Parks Maintenance Worker (Temporary up to 7-Months). The City is seeking one <br />individual to assist our Parks staff with general maintenance of City-owned parks and trail <br />systems. This is a temporary full-time AFSCME union position which will last up to 7- <br />months. Responsibilities include all aspects of parks maintenance, construction of new <br />facilities and the operation of equipment while working in a variety of weather conditions. <br />This individual also assists staff with several City events. All candidates must be at least <br />18 years old or older and possess a valid MN commercial driver’s license (Class A or B) <br />with both air brake & tanker endorsements. This is a temporary full-time AFSCME union <br />position, subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing. This will not lead to regular <br />employment at the conclusion of the season. The 2022 wage is $19.511/hour. Deadline to <br />apply has been changed to open until filled. Apply immediately if interested. <br /> Seasonal Maintenance Workers: The City is seeking a number of individuals to work <br />alongside of our Public Works staff with the general maintenance of streets, park grounds, <br />trails, buildings, and related facilities and equipment. These are temporary, non-union <br />positions working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. <br />All applicants must be at least 17 by June 1, 2022. The wage is $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, <br />depending on qualifications. Application period is open until all 11 positions have been <br />filled, however first interviews will start the week of March 21, 2022. Apply immediately <br />if interested. <br />Attached to the Weekly Update is a City of Ramsey - Come Work With Us Flyers. <br /> <br />Community Partners Needed for Adopt-a-Flag Program. The City of Ramsey is gathering <br />sponsorships as part of its Adopt-a-Flag program. The Adopt-a-Flag Program calls for community <br />partners – both in the business and residential community – to sponsor a flag that will be affixed <br />to a light pole along Sunwood Drive. A Friends-of-the-Flag Level Sponsorship is $50 and a Patriot <br />Level Sponsorship is $500. This covers the cost of supplies as well as an engraved plaque which <br />will be on display at Ramsey City Hall. Patriot Sponsors will also have an engraved nameplate <br />affixed to the light pole. Adopting a flag can also serve as a symbol to honor the memory of a <br />loved one.
