CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at the Ramsey <br /> Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> Members Present: Councilmember Ryan Heineman (attended remotely) <br /> Councilmember Chelsee Howell <br /> Councilmember Debra Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Chris Riley <br /> Councilmember Dan Specht <br /> Councilmember Matt Woestehoff <br /> Members Absent: Mayor Mark Kuzma <br /> Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br /> Parks and Assistant Public Works Superintendent Mark Riverblood <br /> Deputy City Administrator/Community Dev. Director Brian Hagen <br /> City Engineer Bruce Westby <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Riley called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:00 p.m., <br /> followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Pro Tem Riley. <br /> 2. PRESENTATION <br /> 2.01: Presentation Honoring the Retiring City Administrator, Kurt Ulrich <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Riley announced that Dr. Kurt Ulrich is retiring after 42 years of public service, <br /> 15 years of which were spent serving as City Administrator for the City of Ramsey. He stated this <br /> makes Dr. Ulrich the longest City Administrator for Ramsey. Mayor Pro Tem Riley highlighted <br /> professional achievements and wished City Administrator Ulrich the best in his next chapter of <br /> life. Mayor Pro Tem Riley presented City Administrator Ulrich with an engraved plaque as an <br /> expression of appreciation. <br /> City Administrator Ulrich stated it has been a rewarding experience for him and he has come to <br /> love the people of Ramsey, those that serve as the people's representatives, and his interaction <br /> with them. He stated the City continued to move forward through the pandemic and he believed <br /> it will continue. He enjoyed the interviews with the Commission member candidates who <br /> expressed enthusiasm and impressions about the future of the City and the potential of the <br /> community to develop.
