The primary objective of this position may include, but is not <br />limited to, mitigating unauthorized access to data on City-managed networks through the <br />planning, implementation and administration of cybersecurity solutions and best practices. <br />This position focuses heavily on network security and will work closely with all <br />departments, LOGIS and other affiliated entitles to identify present security needs, as well <br />as future needs. This position also supports the IT Department with day-to-day <br />troubleshooting, monitoring and training. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am <br />to 4:30 pm. The hiring salary range is $33.982 to $37.380 per hour depending on <br />qualifications. This position closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday, June 12, 2022. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey is also hiring for the following Temporary Summer Staff and Internships: <br /> Parks Maintenance Worker (Temporary up to 7-Months). Seeking one (1) individual <br />to assist our Parks staff with general maintenance of City-owned parks and trail systems. <br />This is a temporary full-time AFSCME union position lasting up to 7-months. <br />Responsibilities include all aspects of parks maintenance, construction of new facilities and <br />the operation of equipment while working in a variety of weather conditions. This <br />individual also assists staff with several City events. All candidates must be at least 18 <br />years old or older and possess a valid MN commercial driver’s license (Class A or B) with <br />both air brake and tanker endorsements. This is a temporary full-time AFSCME union <br />position subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing, working forty (40) hours per <br />week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. This position will not lead to regular <br />employment at the conclusion of the season. The 2022 wage is $19.511 per hour. Deadline <br />to apply has been changed to open until filled. Seeking a number of individuals to work alongside of <br />our Public Works staff with the general maintenance of streets, park grounds, trails, <br />buildings and related facilities and equipment. These are temporary, non-union positions <br />working forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. All <br />applicants must be at least 17 by June 1, 2022. The wage is $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, <br />depending on qualifications. Interviews will be conducted weekly. Application period is <br />open until all 11 positions have been filled. Apply immediately if interested, as we only <br />have four (4) spots left to fill. <br />Attached to the Weekly Update is a City of Ramsey - Come Work With Us Flyers. <br /> <br />Community Partners Needed for Adopt-a-Flag Program. The City of Ramsey is gathering <br />sponsorships as part of its Adopt-a-Flag program. The Adopt-a-Flag Program calls for community <br />partners – both in the business and residential community – to sponsor a flag that will be affixed <br />to a light pole along Sunwood Drive. A Friends-of-the-Flag Level Sponsorship is $50 and a Patriot <br />Level Sponsorship is $500. This covers the cost of supplies as well as an engraved plaque which <br />will be on display at Ramsey City Hall. Patriot Sponsors will also have an engraved nameplate <br />affixed to the light pole. Adopting a flag can also serve as a symbol to honor the memory of a <br />loved one.
