Happy Days Applications now live! Applications for the 2022 Happy Days Parade, Expo, Dog <br />Show, Chili Cook -off, Car Show and Bike Tour are live now! We are also accepting food vendor <br />applications through Sunday, June 12. All applications should be submitted online at: <br />www.citvoframsev.com/373/. <br />Parks and Recreation Events and Updates: <br />• Women's Hiking Series <br />o Join us from 6:00 — 7:00 pm on Tuesdays to walk and navigate trails at Rum River <br />Central Regional Park. Learn to orient yourself, read trail maps and plan hiking <br />routes. This series will run until Tuesday, June 28. <br />• Slacklining <br />o Come try slacklining at Solstice Park on June 9. Drop in anytime from 4:30 — 6:30 <br />pm. Slacklining is similar to tightrope walking, except with the nylon webbed <br />"slackline" instead of cable or rope. This program is suitable for individuals of all <br />ages. <br />• Vitality Arts Older Adults Art Camp: Nature Watercolor <br />o Spend the week at Central Park creating nature inspired watercolor paintings. This <br />art camp will run June 13 — 17, from 9:30 am — 12:00 pm, and is geared for older <br />adults ages 55+. <br />• Geocaching 101 <br />o Come learn about a hobby that combines technology with nature and exploration. <br />In this beginner class, we will learn how to use GPS technology to help find caches. <br />Registration information for our upcoming programs can be found on the Parks and Recreation <br />Events page — www.citvoframsev.com/ParkEvents. Attached to the Weekly Update are the Parks <br />and Recreation Event Flyers. <br />Anoka County License Center — Ramsey Location. The City of Ramsey has a contract with <br />Anoka County to rent space at City Hall for licensing services. The Anoka County License Center <br />in Ramsey is tentatively scheduled to re -open the week of June 6.
