There have been some changes to the Ward/Precinct lines due to redistricting;therefore,your polling location could be different from the last election. Two changes to note regarding the Polling locations, residents who reside in Ward 3 Precinct 2 will no longer vote at Fire Station 41, the new polling location is the Public Work Building located at 14199 Jaspar Street NW, Ramsey. Secondly, Ward 3 Precinct 3 is a new Precinct for residents who reside in Congressional District 3. Residents who reside in Ward 3 Precinct 3 will vote at Ramsey Municipal Center in the Lake Itasca Room.Attached to the Weekly Update is a list of Ramsey Polling Places. Come Work With Us! The City of Ramsey is hiring for the following positions: • IT Security Administrator. The primary objective of this position may include, but is not limited to, mitigating unauthorized access to data on City-managed networks through the planning, implementation and administration of cybersecurity solutions and best practices. This position focuses heavily on network security and will work closely with all departments, LOGIS and other affiliated entitles to identify present security needs, as well as future needs. This position also supports the IT Department with day-to-day troubleshooting, monitoring and training. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The hiring salary range is $33.982 to $37.380 per hour depending on qualifications. This position closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday. June 12, 2022. • Accounting Clerk. The primary objective of this position is to perform finance, accounting and administrative activities, including, but not limited to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. This is a full-time AFSCME union position, working 40 hours per week. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The hiring salary range is $23.262 to $25.589 per hour depending on qualifications. This position closes at 11:59 Pin on Monday. July 4, 2022. The City of Ramsey is also hiring for the following Temporary Summer Staff and Internships: • Parks Maintenance Worker (Temporary up to 7-Months). Seeking one (1) individual to assist our Parks staff with general maintenance of City-owned parks and trail systems. This is a temporary full-time AFSCME union position lasting up to 7-months. Responsibilities include all aspects of parks maintenance, construction of new facilities and the operation of equipment while working in a variety of weather conditions. This individual also assists staff with several City events. All candidates must be at least 18 years old or older and possess a valid MN commercial driver's license (Class A or B)with both air brake and tanker endorsements. This is a temporary full-time AFSCME union position subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing, working forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. This position will not lead to regular employment at the conclusion of the season. The 2022 wage is $19.511 per hour.Deadline to apply has been chanted to open until filled.
