The primary objective of this position is to perform finance, accounting and administrative activities, including, but not limited to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. This is a full-time AFSCME union position, working 40 hours per week. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The hiring salary range is $23.262 to $25.589 per hour depending on qualifications. This position closes at 11:59 pm on Monday. July 4. 2022. • Building Insnector/Plans Examiner - Two (2) Onenino. The primary objective of these positions is to assist the Building Official in ensuring that all new and existing residential and commercial/industrial development in the City complies with all applicable portions of the Minnesota Building Codes and applicable City Codes. Both are full-time AFSCME union positions, working 40 hours per week. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Experience is preferred but not required; the full wage scale of $33.098 to $41.372 per hour is the hiring range, depending on experience and qualifications. These positions are open until both are filled. Apply immediately if interested. • Streets Maintenance Worker — Two (2) Onenino. The primary objective of these positions is to provide general maintenance of public streets, right-of-ways, storm sewer systems, parking lots and any other related municipal facilities or equipment; as well as snow plowing of public streets, trails and walks. All candidates must possess a commercial class A or B driver's license with air brakes and tanker endorsements. All candidates must reside within approximately 30 minutes from the Public Works Facility to fulfill the on - call team member requirement. The hiring salary wage is $24.981/hour. These positions close at 11:59 pm on Sunday. July 10. 2022. The City of Ramsey is also hiring for the following Temporary Summer Staff and Internships: • Parks Maintenance Worker (Temnorary un to 7-Months). Seeking one (1) individual to assist our Parks staff with general maintenance of City -owned parks and trail systems. This is a temporary full-time AFSCME union position lasting up to 7-months. Responsibilities include all aspects of parks maintenance, construction of new facilities and the operation of equipment while working in a variety of weather conditions. This individual also assists staff with several City events. All candidates must be at least 18 years old or older and possess a valid MN commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with both air brake and tanker endorsements. This is a temporary full-time AFSCME union position subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing, working forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. This position will not lead to regular employment at the conclusion of the season. The 2022 wage is $19.511 per hour. Application period is open until filled Apply immediately if interested.
