• Seasonal Maintenance Workers. Seeking a number of individuals to work alongside of <br />our Public Works staff with the general maintenance of streets, park grounds, trails, <br />buildings and related facilities and equipment. These are temporary, non -union positions <br />working forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. All <br />applicants must be at least 17 by June 1, 2022. The wage is $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, <br />depending on qualifications. Interviews will be conducted weekly. Application period is <br />open until filled. Apply immediately if interested. as we only have three (3) spots left to <br />fill. Attached to the Weekly Update is a City of Ramsey - Come Work With Us Flyers. <br />Parks and Recreation Events and Updates: <br />• Summer Concert Series <br />o The Draw Summer Concert Series kicks off this week with a performance from <br />Roadhouse Blues, and Free root beer floats! This Concert Series will run on <br />Thursdays from 6:30 — 8:00 pm at The Draw park & amphitheater from June 16 — <br />August 25. <br />o Next week, the Concert Series will feature a performance from The Holy Rocka <br />Rollaz. There will be a car show in conjunction with this performance. If you want <br />to enter your car, there is still time to register! <br />• Intro to Pickleball <br />o Come and learn about one of the fastest growing sports in the world in our Intro to <br />Pickleball program on Saturday, July 9 at Central Park from 10:00 am — 12:00 pm. <br />This class will cover an overview of the sport, basic rules and scoring, beginner <br />skills, and time to play. All equipment will be provided for this program. <br />• Elmcrest Art Fair <br />o We are less than a month away from the Elmcrest Art Fair! Stop by Elmcrest Park <br />on Sunday, July 10, from 10:00 am — 4:00 pm to check out and purchase art from <br />local and visiting artists. Throughout the Fair there will be free art classes and <br />demonstrations. There will also be food available for purchase from a variety of <br />food trucks. <br />• Giant Waterslide Fun <br />o Beat the summer heat by sliding down the largest inflatable waterslide in <br />Minnesota! At four stories high. this waterslide is guaranteed to be fun for <br />everyone, not just kids! Thanks to Dedicated Networks for sponsoring the <br />waterslide fun! <br />o This waterslide will run in conjunction with the Summer Concert Series <br />performance by Revved UP on July 21. <br />Registration information for our upcoming programs can be found on the Parks and Recreation <br />Events page — www.citvoframsev.com/ParkEvents.
