INTRODUCTION: The City of Ramsey (City) is requesting proposals for the delivery of a <br /> topographic survey for 167th Avenue between Nowthen Boulevard (CSAH 5) and Saint Francis <br /> Boulevard(T.H. 47); <br /> 1. 1671h Avenue <br /> a. Right of Way is generally 80 feet wide <br /> 1. 60 feet wide from TH 47 to 650 feet west of TH 47 <br /> b. Street is approximately 1.14 miles in length <br /> i. 12.5-acre area <br /> 11. Large portion of street has trees within the right of way <br /> 1. Generally, shots of the tree line will be sufficient <br /> 2. Stand alone and trees on street in-slope; trunk shots are needed. <br /> c. 40-foot-wide rural section street from Nowthen Blvd to Quicksilver Street <br /> 1. (0.98 miles) <br /> d. 47-foot-wide urban section street from Quicksilver St to Saint Francis Blvd <br /> 1. (0.16 miles) <br /> e. Speed limit is 50 mph <br /> 2. The scope of this work includes: <br /> a. Topographic Survey <br /> b. Contacting Gopher State One Call to locate utility markings <br /> c. Delivery of survey points in an Excel/CSV format <br /> d. Point Code listing <br /> FIELD SURVEY REQUIREMENTS: The field survey is not limited to, but is expected to <br /> include the following: <br /> • For Rural Section; elevations along the centerline, edge of bituminous pavement, top and <br /> bottom of swale, and boulevard up to the right-of-way at 50-foot stations and grade <br /> changes. <br /> • For Urban Section; elevations along the centerline, edge of bituminous pavement, top of <br /> curb, flowline of curb, and boulevard up to the right-of-way at 50-foot stations and grade <br /> changes. <br /> o Intersecting streets; same shots as the mainline, to the distance specified in the <br /> exhibit. <br /> o Generally, 50 feet past the right-of-way. <br /> ■ Quicksilver additional distance per exhibit. <br /> • Location and elevations on driveway edges and corners to the right-of-way <br /> • Location and elevations of any storm sewer, sanitary sewer,watermain,utilities, structures, <br /> etc. within the survey area <br /> • Locations and elevations of trees/tree lines, landscaping, mailboxes, signage, fence lines, <br /> etc. within the survey area <br /> • Location and elevations of off-street bituminous trail within the survey area <br /> o NW Quadrant of Nowthen Blvd and 167th Ave <br /> • General top and bottom of slopes, and intermediate spot elevations in swales <br /> 2 <br />
