Absent: Chairperson Bauer and Commissioner <br /> VanScoy. <br /> Chairperson Bauer and Commissioner VanScoy rejoined the Commission. <br /> 7, COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> 7.01: Provide Direction for Modifications to Armstrong Boulevard Interchange District <br /> Modifications <br /> Presentation <br /> Planning Manager Larson presented the Staff Report noting that the Commission should provide <br /> staff with direction to bring an ordinance forward with a public hearing on June 23d. <br /> Commission Business <br /> Chairperson Bauer commented on the difficulties experienced by businesses from the Armstrong <br /> interchange project, some of them going out of business, he would support changes that would <br /> helpbusinesses with little to no cost. He commented that he would support administrative <br /> pp <br /> approvals and perhaps waiving permit costs,in order to be proactive and help those businesses that <br /> pp p p g p p p <br /> will be impacted b a two-year construction project. <br /> p �' y P J � <br /> 3 <br /> Commissioner Gengler asked if the overlay would dictate types of signs. <br /> i <br /> Senior Planner Anderson commented that it would fall under the same guidelines as round signs. <br /> g g . <br /> He commented that any ground sign could have a dynamic display.
