CONTRACTOR <br />TOTAL BID <br />Douglas -Kerr Underground, L.L.C. <br />$2,342,102.66 <br />Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. <br />$2,368,094.65 <br />New Look Contracting, Inc. <br />$2,441,445.45 <br />North Valley, Inc. <br />$2,463,365.28 <br />Engineer's Estimate <br />$2, 346, 670. 50 <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Douglas -Kerr Underground, L.L.C. of Mora, Minnesota, in the <br />amount of $2,342,102.66, for the total bid for construction of the improvements in accordance <br />with the approved plans and specifications and advertisements for bids, is the lowest responsible <br />bidder and their bid shall be and hereby is accepted. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Douglas -Kerr Underground, L.L.C. in the amount of $2,342,102.66 for the <br />construction of said improvements for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey once <br />Cooperative Construction Agreement #1050030 is fully executed. <br />2) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to accept the proposal from <br />Bolton & Menk, Inc. in the amount of $49,775.00 for construction related services for <br />said improvements for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 8th day of August, 2022. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Mayor <br />Resolution #22-176 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
