INTRODUCTION: The City of Ramsey (City) is requesting proposals for the delivery of three <br />(3) geotechnical reports for 2023 projects including; <br />1. IP 23-01 161st Avenue Reconstruction <br />a. 161 st Avenue between Armstrong Boulevard and Variolite Street <br />i. MSA Reconstruction (10-ton design) <br />ii. Water, Sanitary Sewer, and Stonn Sewer installation anticipated <br />b. Street is approximately 0.51 miles in total length <br />i. 28-feet wide, with bituminous curb <br />ii. Speed limit is 30 mph <br />iii. ADT 1,100 (Future School Design ADT 2,500) <br />iv. No Parking on both sides <br />c. Scope of work includes: <br />i. Seven (7) soil borings to a depth of 15-feet (No. 5 and 6 in green space; <br />No.7 within Parking Lot) per the attached exhibit <br />ii. Five (5) Pavement Cores for borings 1-4, 7 <br />d. A standard geotechnical report including construction feasibility for public utilities <br />and pavement section <br />e. Logs of soil borings with descriptions of nomenclature used for defining the site <br />soils <br />f. Estimated subgrade support strength parameters for design of the bituminous <br />roadway and recommendations for soil corrections <br />g. Recommendations for earthwork associated with installation of storm sewer, <br />sanitary sewer, and watermain <br />2 <br />
