2. IP 23-04 167th Avenue Reconstruction <br />a. 167th Avenue between Nowthen Blvd (CSAH 5) and St. Francis Blvd (TH 47) <br />i. MSA Reconstruction (10-ton design) <br />ii. Water exist, some storm sewer installation anticipated <br />b. Street is approximately 1.13 miles in total length <br />i. 40 feet wide rural (Nowthen to Quicksilver St) 0.98 miles <br />ii. 47 feet wide urban (Quicksilver St to TH 47) 0.15 miles <br />iii. Speed limit is 50 mph <br />iv. ADT 2,350 <br />v. 8-10 feet wide shoulders both sides <br />c. Scope of work includes: <br />i. Twelve (12) soil borings to a depth of 10 feet per the attached exhibit <br />1. Twelve (12) Pavement Cores <br />d. A standard geotechnical report including construction feasibility for public utilities <br />and pavement section <br />e. Logs of soil borings with descriptions of nomenclature used for defining the site <br />soils <br />f. Estimated subgrade support strength parameters for design of the bituminous <br />roadway and recommendations for soil corrections <br />g. Recommendations for earthwork associated with installation of storm sewer, <br />sanitary sewer, and watermain <br />3. IP 23-05 Barthel's Rum River Acres 2nd Street Reconstructions <br />a. Subdivision located east of Trunk Highway 47, adjacent to Rum River <br />i. Connections from 164th Lane at TH 47 <br />ii. Existing crossing culverts are proposed to be replaced <br />iii. Northern Natural Gas Lines cross the subdivision (3 road crossings) <br />b. Streets are approximately 1.64 miles in total length <br />i. 24-feet wide, rural section <br />ii. Speed limit is 30 mph <br />c. Scope of work includes: <br />i. Thirteen (13) soil borings to a depth of 10-feet per the attached exhibit <br />1. Thirteen (13) Pavement Cores <br />ii. A standard geotechnical report including construction feasibility for public <br />utilities and pavement section <br />iii. Logs of soil borings with descriptions of nomenclature used for defining the <br />site soils <br />iv. Estimated subgrade support strength parameters for design of the <br />bituminous roadway and recommendations for soil corrections <br />v.
