Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #22-208 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR ELMCREST PARK <br />ENTRANCE PROPERTY <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey (Buyer) and Blackjack Farms, L.L.C. (Seller) have <br />negotiated terms of a Purchase Agreement associated with the north park entrance to Elmcrest <br />Park; and <br />WHEREAS, the Seller would convey a portion of land to the Buyer in fee title interest for <br />an amount of $100,000; and <br />WHEREAS, the Purchase Agreement establishes provisions to be completed by both the <br />Seller and the Buyer; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the Purchase Agreement between the City <br />of Ramsey and Blackjack Farms, L.L.C. in the amount of $100,000 and subsequent <br />provisions established within the Purchase Agreement. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 23rd day of August, 2022. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />
