The water treatment plant <br />would require approximately 3.5 acres of land. The current City water operations shop is located <br />on this site. Construction of the water treatment plant on the Water Shop Site would require <br />demolition of the existing water operations shop and abandonment of 142nd Ave NW. A water <br />treatment plant layout for the Water Shop Site is shown on Figure 6 in Appendix I. <br />Raw and rinished Watermain Costs — Water Shop Site <br />The raw and finished watermain required to construct a water treatment plant at the Water Shop <br />Site is shown on Figure 3 in Appendix I. The water main costs are included in Table 14. <br />Because a new Public Works building is being constructed across the street from the Water Shop <br />Site, it is assumed that a new garage is not needed with the water treatment plant.
