Parks and Recreation Events and Updates: • Movie in the Park o Grab a blanket or bring a lawn chair and join us for a free outdoor screening of The Secret Life of Peis at The Draw on Friday, September 23 starting at 7:30 pm. • Walk with a Naturalist o Spend the morning hiking with a Minnesota Master Naturalist Educator on Saturdays, September 24 and October 8, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Rum River Central Regional Park. Save the Date: • Fall Recycling Day Event: The Fall Recycling Day event will be on Saturday, September 24, from 8:00am to 12:00pm at the Ramsey Public Works facility (14199 Jaspar St NW). This is an opportunity for residents to properly dispose of a number of materials that are not accepted in the curbside recycling program. The following materials will be accepted at the Fall Recycling Day event: Appliances, electronics, tires, fluorescent bulbs, batteries, oil, oil filters, antifreeze, mattresses, box springs, scrap metal, standard curbside materials (e.g. cardboard, aluminum, steel and tin cans, newspaper, plastic bottles, tubs and lids 1 gallon or less in size, glass jars and bottles) and document destruction (limited to no more than 3 boxes of documents). Attached is more information on the event, including fees for the various materials.
