I am a new resident to the City of Ramsey, having moved in-mid June. Prior
to our purchasing the home located at 5590 152nd Lane, I contacted the City asking what,
ill any plans were in the works or in the preliminary stages, or what, if anything, they
could tell me about the undeveloped land adjacent to our property, At that time,, the only
in~brmation they had was a potential new school, however, they were concerned with
t'unding and holding the land for another 5 years. I was, at that time, hoping for a new
park/trail area in the undeveloped land since there are no parks within a one mile radius
or' our development and we have 40 + children in our development.

[ never did receive notification of the proposed Meadows development, but was informed
by a neighbor that they were going to develop said area and had proposed residential
homes. [ was also told that one access to the Meadows was proposed in our
dew:lopment, which consists of approximatelY 39 homes with a population of 40 +/-
children with an average age of approximately 6. '

[ am very concerned about having a through street in our development because for the
past seven years the children of our development have had free reign oft he streets due to
n~; sidewalks, walking paths, trails of any kind. With their being no access to other areas,
we get very little traffic. I cannot think of a better location to have my children grow up.
[' ye never, until now, lived in an area with a dead end, but now that they are proposing to
rievclop this area and open up our dead end for through traffic, I cannot think of anything
wo['sc. The results of this could and would be catastrophic~ There will be so many

83
